DFDC-POL-001 — Facility Rules & Regulations
By entering DFDC The Hague you agree to comply with the facility rules summarised below. The full document is available on request.
Access & Check-in
- Activate your access code on arrival; deactivate before departure.
- Failure to deactivate triggers the building alarm.
- Extend your code before it expires — repeated expiry violations may incur a fine of up to €250.
- Tailgating is strictly prohibited; authenticate individually at every access point.
- Carry valid government-issued photo ID at all times on site.
- Visitors without enrolled biometrics must be escorted at all times.
Conduct
- No alcohol, narcotics, firearms, weapons, flammable or hazardous materials.
- No smoking or vaping anywhere in or near the building (5 m from doors).
- No food or beverages in the data hall — use the break room.
- No photography or recording without prior written authorisation.
- Professional conduct is expected at all times.
Operational Standards
- Work only within your allocated rack(s) or cage(s).
- Install blanking panels in all empty rack unit spaces.
- Keep all containment doors closed at all times.
- Unpack equipment in the staging area only — no cardboard in the data hall.
- Maintain a clean workspace; non-compliance may incur remote-hands charges.
- All cabling must follow DFDC guidelines and not obstruct walkways or exits.
Deliveries
- Announce all deliveries in advance via the Access Portal.
- Loading bay access requires at least 72 hours’ notice.
- Dispose of packaging waste in the designated recycling bins.
Compliance & Enforcement
- Violations may result in warnings, fines (up to €250), access suspension, or permanent revocation.
- You are liable for any damage caused by your actions or negligence.
